Captain America: The Winter Soldier

          Steven Rogers was a young boy from Brooklyn who wanted to join the Second World War that the U.S. government was recited for. In trying to get into the war Steven Rogers tried six times to get past the recruiting agents. He believed that he couldn't not sign up while others were out there risking their lives. On Steven Roger's sixth attempt, a German scientist saw the young man's potential and signs him up for a program to make the first genetically made supper solider. However, right after the experiment that turned Steven Rogers into a stronger version of himself, Hydra attacked the building killing the scientist who knew the formula and destroying the rest of the serum. 

          Steven Rogers turns into Captain America parading around the country in order to raise money for artillery. Once he has made it around the country he went over seas. There he learns that his childhood friend, Bucky Barnes, has been captured behind enemy lines and disobeys orders in order to save him and the rest of the 107th infantry. From then on the U.S. government uses Captain America for difficult missions. At the final act Captain America goes against his enemy, red skull, sacrificing himself in order to save all of New York from a Hydra bomb. He lands in the icy ocean and goes into a comatose state. 70 years later he is found and introduced into the world again. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the story of Steven Rogers (Captain America) living in Washington D.C. adjusting to the new world around him.

The Opening Image in Winter Solder is Steven Rogers running past famous museums in Washington D.C. He passes a man multiple times throughout the opening shots. When Steven Rogers finishes his run he goes over to talk to the man. The viewers learn that the man’s name is Sam Wilson and that he was a soldier of the 58^th para rescue who now works at the VA. Rogers and Wilson talk about adjusting to the modern age, and what Cap missed, along with having to adjust to live after coming back from war. By the end of the talk Natasha Romanoff, Black Widow pulls up to the curve to take Cap off to S.H.I.L.D’s headquarters.

The Theme challenged in The Winter Solider is the question of how much freedom would you hand over for the illusion of safety. Steven Rogers is forced to look at the corruption of the government, represented by S.H.I.L.D, and trying to decide what is right from wrong in this new time.

The Set-up of this movie takes places on a mobile satellite launch platform run by S.H.I.L.D. in the middle of the Indian Ocean. The crew was overtaken by pirates and given a ransom of a billion and a half dollars. Captain American, Black Widow, and a black team take back the ship from the pirates securing the prisoners aboard the ship. However while this was happening Black Widow was backing up the hard drive from the ship on to a drive.  The two get in an argument about how it was compromising the mission, and Captain America finds out that Black Widow had another mission adored the ship then everyone else.

The Catalyst to this movie is the introduction to project insight.

The Debate is shown between Nick fury and Captain America while explaining what project insight is. Captian America expresses his view while exclaiming, “by holding a gun to everyone on earth and calling it protection.” The director’s response was to point out the horrific crimes committed by the SSR. Then Cap responds that the reason those actions were done was for freedom and that “this is not freedom this is fear.”

The script Breaks into the Second Act in about the 23^rd  minute when Nick Fury try’s to get into the hard drive gotten off the Mariam Star. He is denied access and becomes suspicious of the people around him.

The B story in this movie is the background story of James Bucky Barnes. How he survived the fall, and then how he turned into the Winter Solider.

The Fun & Games enters the screen during the car chase scene with the director being fallowed by cop cars down D.C. streets. He makes it out of there alive, and goes to Steven Rogers’s apartment. There Nick tell Cap not to trust anybody, and then proceeds to gets shot by a man that is fast, strong, and has a metal arm.

Fury is moved to the hospital and under goes surgery, but dies on the table in the surgical room. Captain Rogers then returns to S.H.I.L.D, headquarters and talk to Senator Pierce, who asks Rogers about Fury’s mysterious death. While Cap is leaving the building he gets attacked in the elevator and has to run in order to avid getting captured.

Steven Rogers then goes back to the hospital where he storied the hard drive Fury had given to him, and runs into Natasha. Natasha tells Captain America the story about the winter soldier who not many believe exist. Together they find out that the drive was from Wheaton, New Jersey and they go to check it out. What they find is the army basecamp Lehigh where Rogers spent time before becoming Captain America.

Within a barricade they find a secret S.H.I.L.D. offices. Within that office there is another hidden floor with old data software extending to each wall. In the databanks is a Swiss Scientist mind, who worked for Red Skill. He tells Black Widow and Cap that Hydra never really died but instead has been growing secretly within S.H.I.L.D. However the scientist has been taking up their time so that a short range ballistic could reach their position.

The Midpoint of the story is when Steven Rogers and Natasha make it to Sam Wilson’s house and ask for refuge. While having breakfast they put the dots together on how is leading Hydra from within S.H.I.L.D. Then Sam asks to be recruited onto the team and shows them what he did in the air force.

Bad Guys Close In on the highway when the car gets totaled and the characters have to fight against a group of people lead by the Winter Soldier.

All is Lost the moment that Steven Rogers see that the man his been facing up against is his childhood friend, Bucky Barnes. The S.H.I.L.D strike unit comes in and captures Captain Rogers, Black Widow, and Sam Wilson.

Dark Night of the Soul happens when the team meets with Fury and find out his alive. They talk about how to get into the S.H.I.L.D. facility in order to stop the launch of project insight by replacing the mainframe of each the carriers. Captain America comments that they can’t salvage anything because S.H.I.L.D. and Hydra is the same thing. The group agrees with Cap over Fury, which leads Cap to starts giving orders.

The Winter Soldiers Dark night of the Soul happens when he is talking to Alexander Pierce in the bank. He comments on how he knew the man on the bridge. Bucky Barnes knows he had known the man from before he became the Winter Solider. Pierce decides to restart the Winter Solider, and send him of to fight Captain America again.

Break into Three is when Captain America walks into the S.H.I.L.D. headquarters and tells the agents over intercom that S.H.I.L.D. has been taken over by Hydra and is about to get what they want “complete control” with the launch of the carriers. He tells them that Alexander Pierce is part of hydra, along with the Strike and insight crew. Captain America ask the people at S.H.I.L.D to fight for freedom even thought what they might be giving is a high price to pay.

The Final scene of the Winter Soldier is the fight sequence against the people who want Project Insight to get into the air verse the people who will do anything to stop it from getting there. It’s when Nick Fury comes back alive and introduces himself Pierce so that two alpha level members could be used to disable the inception in order to get all S.H.I.L.D. file on to the internet. It’s when Sam Wilson has a fight with the Strike team leader to stop him from getting to the council. It’s also when Falcon and Captain are putting new mainframes into the carriers.

However more pacifically the final scene is when the Winter Soldier and Captain American are forced to go against each other.  When Captain makes the order to have the ships fight against each other with him aboard he does not expect to get out. Instead he goes over to childhood friend Bucky Barnes. He refuses to fight Barnes, even with Bucky refusing to listen him. Steven Rogers drops his shield in symbolism of giving up, and surrender because there was no way Rogers was going to fight his friend. While they were interlocked a picas of metal hits where they were laying and causes Steven Rogers to fall giving what he had said “because I’m with you in till the end of the line” meaning, the end. But Bucky Barnes goes into the water after Steven and pulls him to the shore laying him on the ground to rest. Bucky Barnes had given up his mission so that his childhood friend, Steven Rogers, could live.

The Final Images of the movie is tying up the loose ends. Showing Agents getting new jobs. People getting arrested who were under Hydra. Black Widow explaining the situation to Capital Hill. Nick Fury destroying his set up allies, and Steven Rogers and Sam Wilson going after Bucky Barnes.
